SRHS Update: Week of December 19

Good morning parents, students, and friends of Sanborn Regional High School. Here are your important announcements for the week:

1. This is a short week. We have NO SCHOOL this Friday. We will be on holiday break and school will resume on Monday, January 2, 2012.

2. I have attached the schedule for final/midterm assessments, which will be held on January 12 and 13. Quarter 2 ends January 13th.

3. SAVE THE DATE for our next open house, which will be held on January 23 from 4:30-8:00pm.

4. The post prom planning committee needs your help! Please remember, this event is planned completely by parent volunteers. If you can offer some support, you can email Theresa Drury at:

5. A message from the Guidance Department:

Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at 6:30 pm, in the high school library, the Guidance Department will host a Financial Aid Night for seniors and their parents. A representative from the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation (NHEAF) will be here to walk you through the financial aid process and to answer questions. Please try to attend. This information is very helpful in assisting you with the financial aid process and filling out the FAFSA, whether you plan to attend a 2 year school, a 4 year school, or a vocational school. Please contact Guidance if have any questions.

6. Winter Athletics Schedule from the Athletic Director - See Attached
7. A message from Mr. Adams, the yearbook advisor:

Mr. Stack Could you please do one of your e-mails to the parents on your e-mail list about placing an ad for student recognition for the yearbook. We have only received about 2 so far. This is very low. I have attached 2 documents for the parents review. Thank you for your time
-- Jeff Adams

I hope you all have a happy holiday season and a happy new year. See you all in 2012!

-Brian Stack
