SRHS Update: Week of April 9
1. Did you know we now have our very own PTO? Please consider joining. The membership form is attached.
2. The federal No Child Left Behind Act requires that all schools are measured annually on their growth towards having all students demonstrate proficiency in reading and mathematics. Each year, the State of New Hampshire releases a list of schools that have made adequate yearly progress (AYP) towards this goal. I have attached a letter that explains the AYP status of SRHS for this year. In short, we made AYP in reading but not mathematics. We will continue to address our mathematics needs and will be developing an action plan to submit to the State this fall. The letter explains this in more detail.
